I am an expert in solving technical challenges and developing business-driven IP strategies.
As a patent attorney, I am a problem solver with a strong interest in technology. I have always been driven by tackling technical challenges and finding solutions to what seems impossible. In my work, I see every patent as an opportunity to demonstrate what can be achieved with the right methodology and creative thinking. I view objections as a vital part of the process—a chance to both question and improve, to find new ways to defend what has been built. My extensive experience not only makes me skilled at handling complex patent situations but also a trusted advisor for long-term, strategic IP matters.
My perspective on collaboration
The patent profession is heavily reliant on collaboration—between technology, law, and business strategy. My greatest motivation is immersing myself in new technology, dissecting details, and working closely with my clients to create the best possible outcomes. This is where I draw my energy—from the creative process of crafting solutions that truly make a difference for a company’s future. Over my 30 years in the industry, I have had the privilege of working with several of the world’s leading companies across a variety of sectors, which has given me a deep understanding of how IP serves as a strategic asset.
About my previous assignments
I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of technologies and patent-related issues, from microlithography and microelectronics to drone technology and additive manufacturing. My experience on both the client and supplier sides has made me an expert in managing both patent applications and disputes, always with a strong focus on business strategy and technical precision. My expertise spans multiple sectors, including telecommunications, the automotive industry, forestry technology, and medical technology, where I have supported both established multinational corporations and innovative startups.
Building trust and long-term relationships
I firmly believe that successful business relationships are built on trust. By fostering close and long-term relationships with my clients, we can achieve the best solutions together. I always strive to be a partner who goes beyond just the legal aspects—it’s about understanding the client’s business goals and helping shape a strategy that benefits their long-term development.
