Technology and law have always had a special interest to me.

When I applied for admission to the university, I applied both within technology and law. At that time technology prevailed due to solid interest in technology, product development and innovation. After university, I discovered that I was able to combine my interest in technology and law by working with patents and IPR.

I was immediately hooked and had found my vocation. I am very enthusiastic about combining technology, law, strategy, and business in my daily work and use my interest, knowledge and drive to provide advice of commercial use of all aspect of IPR with a focus of the technical parts of IPR, i.e. mainly patents.

As a person I am very curious, and I really enjoy the talks and discussions I have with inventors and other stakeholders about technical challenges and the technical solutions thereto as well as the commercial aspects related to these solutions and inventions. I always strive at my advice have a commercial impact.

Now after more than 25 years as patent consultant I am still amazed how revealing technology, law, strategy and business are for me. All these areas continue to develop rapidly which provide me with the opportunities for further development of my skills and competences.

The past 15 years I have had a special focus on strategy and protection of technical solutions within cleantech, energy-based technical solutions and renewable energy. This is an area of great importance and hopefully future innovations may assist in achieving the world’s climate goals.
