IAM Patent 1000 – The world’s Leading Patent Professionals

IAM Patent 1000 – The World’s Leading Patent Professionals – is a guide that identifies the top patent professionals in key jurisdictions around the globe. Individuals qualify for a listing in the IAM Patent 1000 when they receive sufficient positive feedback from peers and clients with knowledge of their practice and the market within which they operate. IAM also also identifies the leading firms in the market – similarly listing them, where appropriate, in prosecution, transactions and litigation tables. In instances where certain individuals or firms attracts significantly greater positive feedback from clients and peers, they have been listed as “highly recommended”, to distinguish them from their “recommended” peers.

2023

Based on recent case and client work, feedback from attorneys across the industry, and responses provided by clients IAM Global Leaders annually highlights the industry’s top patent practitioners. Björn Andersson, Christian Arkelius and Rikard Roos selected as IAM Global Leaders 2022, a renowned list which highlights the world’s leading patent attorneys.

Ström & Gulliksson named Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year in Sweden. Ström & Gulliksson has received the Sweden Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year trophy at the Managing IP Awards 2021. It recognizes achievements in filing and prosecuting patent applications before the Swedish Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office.

However, the IAM research process also involves face-to-face and telephone interviews, as well as email exchanges, with senior members of the global IP community. No one can qualify for a listing in the IAM Strategy 300 unless he or she is nominated by at least three people from outside his or her own organisation. Even this does not guarantee inclusion; instead, only those individuals who further research shows to have exceptional skill sets, as well as profound insights into the development, creation and management of IP value, are featured in the IAM Strategy 300.
